Brassart was created in 1949 and originally provided training courses in tradition arts before moving towards graphic and digital design. They began teaching 3D in 2002, acquired the 3D specialized school “ESMI” in Bordeaux in 2017, and became a new entity in 2019 with the acquisition of the group “Ecole Aries” who is specialized in 3D Design, VFX, Animation and Video Games. Brassart in 2020 is made up of 12 schools proposing programs in Graphic Design, Video Games, and 3D, VFX, & Animation.

My memories of the school are filled with technical knowledge but also of my own personal development. The final year is dedicated to the “End of Studies Project” and teaches us how to work in a team to solve both technical and human problems. You leave the school stronger and a better person.

Staff Bios

Here are three staff members from the school that represent the level of professional experience and knowledge of the faculty.

Alexandre Collonge

Alexandre has been in the 3D industry for many years. His expertise focuses on modelling, sculpting, texturing, lighting, rendering but also characters/ objects rigging. He is one of the Zbrush Master of the school!

Delphine Carlier

Delphine is the queen of rigging at Brassart ! After many years working in different studios in Paris and Lyon, she dedicated herself to teaching animation and rigging.

Yoni Arena

Yoni was first into comics before diving into 3D and animation. He started his career as 3D animator, to become lead of different animated projects for the television industry. Yoni is now Director of Brassart Montpellier.
