University of Huddersfield is one of seven universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. It was founded in 1997 and comprises of the Lucerne Schools of Engineering and Architecture, Business, Information Technology, Social Work, Art and Design and Music. It is the largest educational institution in the region and supported by the six central Swiss cantons Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz, Obwalden, Nidwalden and Zug.

Games Development (Art) BA(Hons)
Do you see yourself as an artist? Do you love the idea of creating the visual elements of a game? From characters to environments, props to vehicles, in both 2D and 3D, good computer game artists create intricate pieces of art through visual storytelling and cohesive design to engage and immerse a player in another world.On this course, we will explore what is possible with games art and development, learn more about conceptualisation, creative production, character and environment art, level design and prototyping with game engines, all of which are built through ever advancing technology. We’ll encourage you to get creative and ambitious with your designs and develop visionary artwork.
Animation Production BA(Hons)
Animation is a lively and exhilarating medium that expresses story and character through light, line and movement. Whether putting together a compelling narrative, creating environments, storyboards and illustrations, or experimenting with new technologies and abstract forms of movement, the process of animation is rich and complex.On this course you’ll have the opportunity to experience every aspect of animation, from mastering existing techniques and technologies to developing something new.You’ll collaborate with other subjects in art, design and technology offering you the chance to encounter new materials, styles and production processes to give you a well-rounded experience. You’ll develop your own visual language and gain the technical skills to help your ideas take shape though illustration, 3D, film, stop-motion, and kinetic technologies. We’ll help you define your preferred area of interest early in the course, and you'll continue to develop your skills throughout.
