We all know one: the artist you follow who always manages to impresses you. The person who makes you shake your head in amazement and inspires you to be a better digital artist. The artist is simply awesome, a trailblazer, and absolute standout in their field and someone who always manages to give back to their fans and the community. They are so legendary that it's hard to measure their level of awesomeness. They are an awesome artist, they are an AARTIST!
Help us find the first ever #2019aartist - an artist that inspires you, makes the CG community a better place, someone that is the most awesome artist!
This year, The Rookies is celebrating artists that inspire us - the women and men who not only create incredible art, but motivate us to be better and are always giving back to others. We are beginning this with a social media campaign in September leading up to an announcement in November.
In our coverage of all the nominees, we hope to highlight the creativity, individuality, and awesomeness from artists over the last 12 months.
To nominate an artist and enter the contest you must:
- Follow @TheRookiesCO on Instagram
- Tag a friend you want to nominate and explain why they are an awesome artist.
- Hashtag #2019aartist
Nomination close November 10th, 2019 at 11:59pm EST. One (1) winner who enters the contest will be picked at random and announced on November 14th, 2019 at 11:59pm EST. The winner will be notified via Instagram DM. The artists with the highest nomination count will be crowded as the #2019aartist and announced November 14th, 2019.
The winner who correctly enters the contest will win US$150 worth of merchandise from The Rookies shop.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter. Nominated artists must create cg art, concept art or 3d art for vfx, animation, games, archviz and similar creative media industries.
