This is why we are running a regular Netflix and Skill contest for everyone to challenge themselves, improve their creative skills and showcase it to the world.Each Netflix and Skill contest takes a trending show from our favourite streaming service and uses it as the topic. We are kicking off with Peaky Blinders - a notorious gang in 1919 Birmingham.Important DatesOpen for submission 19th November 2019.Entries close 6th January 2020.Finalists announced 13th January 2020.Winners announced 20th January 2020.Dates mentioned are at 11:59 pm on the date in question.All dates are based on GMT.Who Can Enter?Only members of The Rookies can enter this contest. This means that you must be an aspiring artist. You can be a student, self-taught artist, or even a hobbyist. Please note that anyone with more that 12 months professional experience in a related industry is not eligible to enter.Prizes & BadgesWe have loads of badges to award to entrants of all member levels. This means that Debut members will not have to directly compete with Rookie members for badges. There will be 3 overall winners, 1 for each category. These winners (regardless of member level) will each win a US$100 Awazon gift card.How to EnterThe first step is to (1) select a category to enter. There are 3 x categories available in this contest:Render (for 3D artists)Design (for 2D artists)Animate (for 2D & 3D animators)Each category has a distinct brief which contains all the information you need to understand what the judges want you to submit. Once you find a brief that you are interested in, (2) create an entry page. This page will be used to share your work with the judges.
