Stages of a Contest

We have massive annual contests and small mini-challenges. At the core of these are a few simple stages that you need to know about.

1. Enter Contest

This stage is pretty straight forward. Our team and sponsors provide a brief. You go away and create something awesome. Some contests will even ask you to share your progress with our Work-In-Progress feature. The key here is to pay close attention to the brief.

2. Judging Period

We hand select some of the biggest industry names out there. This includes Oscar Winners, AAA Game Art Directors and studio executives. During the Juding period we all deliberate to find the very best entries which will be nominated as Finalists.

3. Finalists Announced

This is a pretty big deal. Reaching this stage means you have been hand selected from all other entries and will be reviewed by a wider judging panel. Judges review privately and nominate their favourite entries.

4. Awards Given

This is the fun part. We get to hand out badges, certificates and even trophies sometimes. Enter as many contests as you like and collect Awards to display on your free profile page. Trust us, recruiters love a profile with a nice badge.
