Weekly Drill 058 - #BaseballGlove

This week we want you to create a baseball glove and then tag it #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #BaseballGlove.

This week we want you to create a baseball glove and then tag it #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #BaseballGlove.

This week might sound simple, but don't get ahead of yourself here. This is a tough one. Creating a digital baseball glove (or mitt) is as complicated as a 3D character. You will need to think about how a glove is made in the real world. Really think about how the leather is cut and laid out, and how the it's stitched together. Go for realism with this challenge. Find some good reference and create an old baseball glove, or create a brand new glove with that sweet new leather smell. Game on!

To get some feedback on your work-in-progress project before you submit it, head over to Discord channel and chat with other artists having a crack. To see all the Weekly Drill projects just follow this link.
