Weekly Drills Weekly Drills 029 - #Books by Andrew McDonald 3 months ago 3 min read This week we want you to create a digital book asset that could be used as a prop in a game, film or digital render, then tag it #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #books. This is your chance to create a simple, but highly polished digital asset. You might want to create a closed book and really go to town with the texturing detail. You might create a book that is open and has individual pages visible to add complexity. You could even rig a book so an animator could bring it to life. The overall goal here is to create an asset that you can showcase your skills and use in future projects as a background prop or as a hero asset. To get some feedback on your work-in-progress project before you submit it, head over to Discord channel and chat with other artists having a crack.
