Weekly Drills 052 - #DesignerCouch
This week we want you to create a designer couch asset and tag it #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #DesignerCouch.
This week we want you to create a designer couch asset and tag it #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #DesignerCouch.
For this week's drill, we are challenging you to choose a real-world designer couch and bring it to life in 3D. The goal of this asset is to be able to drop it into a game, film or archviz project that you are planning to build in the future. Impress the judges by paying close attention to small details like seams, fabric patterns and irregularities in cushion shapes. Please make sure to build everything from scratch. Do not use any pre-existing assets you have created, or third-party models downloaded from asset libraries.
To get some feedback on your work-in-progress project before you submit it, head over to Discord channel and chat with other artists having a crack. To see all the Weekly Drill projects just follow this link.

As many as you want.

During Step 2 of the project building process, you will see a tag input field in the right column under your project title and description input fields. Note: Do not include "#" with your tag, the app already handles that for you. See below for example.
