Weekly Drills 053 - #SpaceDoor

This week we want you to create a door that would be found on a futuristic space station and tag it #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #SpaceDoor.

Important: You have 2 x weeks to complete this drill.

Doors are pretty underrated and it's time we celebrated how awesome they are - especially when it comes to space. Your challenge this week is to design a door that would be found on a space station in a film or game. Your project can be completed in 2D or 3D. It can be an internal door or an external air-lock door. Whichever you choose, we want you to design and build something the looks futuristic, strong and stylish. Here are some concepts to get your brain ticking.

Rules

• Use your favourite art supplies, software and workflow.
• Only submit work created during this week.
• Submit as many entries as you want.
• You can use concept art, models, textures and other assets and include it in your project. However, make sure to credit the artist by linking to their work and explain exactly what you created.
• You must tag your project with #RookiesWeeklyDrills and #SpaceDoor
• Submission close Sunday, May 2nd, 2021

Judges

Justin Mohlman will evaluate entries and select a winner based on quality, creativity, and adherence to the challenge theme.
