NOTE: This is a 2D Painting drill only. Painting texture cubes is a great way to level-up your digital painting skills using tools like Photoshop, Procreate and similar tools. For this drill we challenge you to create 6+ cubes and paint different materials on them. Each cube should be the same size, perspective, and use the same light direction. You can do any range of materials you like such as wood, metal, cheese, wax, glass and even ice. Check out some of the great reference below.
