There are plenty of illustration software packages available these days capable of bringing your ideas to life. Autodesk is renowned for making industry leading 3D software packages, but they are not well known for 2D. I've recently been digging into Sketchbook, their recent illustration package and I must say it's really impressive and addictive.
I wanted to dig in and see if there were any Rookies' out there using the tool. The good news is that there were plenty, and they had way better drawings than me to demonstrate the softwares capabilities. Here are my top picks that might encourage you to download a free copy of this software.
This is creation of Julia the Human Jellyfish. Much like a jellyfish, she has a bioluminescent glow but only in darkness and when submerged in water. She's part of "Martin's Freaky Darlings" circus show with special performances only once a month.
I'm focused on making game ready low poly models and improving my character production pipeline showcasing them in a realtime environment. I wish to get my characters to a AAA game standard. Although, I'm also working on improving my texturing and lighting skills in tandem.
